The Tenant Move In app will share your inspection data with no one, except for the property management company or other person or organization who invited you to use the service.

The tenant completing the inspection and the inviting party (e.g., their property management company) will receive a PDF version of the tenant-inspection via email once it has been completed and submitted by the tenant.

Online data retention and backup storage of the inspection is determined by the data retention rules and policies of the inviting party.

The inviting party may choose to delete the online backup at any time and may use all results of received tenant inspections for the purposes of conducting property management and rental services.

The Tenant Move In app uses a third-party bug-tracking software. This software helps us improve our mobile app by automatically reporting any app crashes and significant errors.

This data is not used, provided, or sold for any advertising purposes nor provided to any other party. The data is exclusively used to facilitate and provide timely and effective technical support.

The data captured by this third-party bug-tracking software includes:

  • User ID
  • Device ID
  • Email Address
  • Crash Data
  • Performance Data
  • Other Diagnostic Data
  • Sync Errors
  • Upload Errors

In order to provide you with great support, we recommend that you do not disable the bug-tracking software. However, you may opt out at any time: simply tap on the Settings (gear) icon within the app and un-check the “Auto Send Crash logs” option.

Location Tracking:

Your location is used to provide supporting documentation for your inspection reports (i.e., to GPS stamp any photos you take). This location data is never sold or provided to anyone.

The first time your location needs to be accessed within the app, you will receive an alert prompting you to allow permission to use your location. If you inadvertently provided us such access and wish to disable it, you may do so at any time under App Permissions within the device operating system menu.
